The CBA Wellness Forum, formerly known as Legal Profession Assistance Conference, was established in 1988 to establish, expand and support assistance programs for lawyers, judges and law students in every province and territory.
The mandate of CBA Wellness Forum is to work collectively with the provincial Lawyer Assistance Programs (LAPs) to assist in program development, education and awareness, and alternative funding sources. CBA Wellness Forum is funded by the Canadian Bar Insurance Association, the CBA and the Canadian Lawyers Insurance Association and from the law firm Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP.
