Dear Section Members,

CBA Family Law Section works on behalf of Canadian families and family law lawyers. We address substantive and practice issues in family law and promote the fair, effective and efficient resolution of family matters. Our members get access to the latest resources and submissions. Meet the 2017-2018 executive.

Your nation-wide CBA Family Law Section has been busy! Here’s just some of what we’ve been up to:

SUCCESSFULLY PARENTING APART TOOLKIT: HELPING YOUR CLIENTS THROUGH THE POST-SEPARATION PROCESS

The Successfully Parenting Apart toolkit organizes and consolidates online and print resources offering guidance, information, referrals and resources for resolving parenting challenges post-separation in ways most effective for children.

TAX MATTERS TOOLKIT FOR LAWYERS AND CLIENTS

The 2014 Tax Matters Toolkit developed with CRA is available to all CBA members and the general public. We are committed to keeping it relevant. Send us any problems you’re encountering in your practice or suggestions for improvement.
