Collateral consequences project July 01, 2015 With recent changes to the criminal law, especially in the area of sentencing and incarceration, criminal practitioners need to adopt a more “holistic” approach in dealing with offenders. The Judges’ Forum is teaming up with the CBA Criminal Justice Section to develop resources to help legal professionals recognize some of the so-called collateral consequences of guilt.
