Call for nominations: CBA National Construction and Infrastructure Law Section

The CBA National Construction & Infrastructure Law Section is seeking nominations for a Secretary for a two-year term from September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2026, and up to ten Members-at-Large, for a one-year term from September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2025.


The Secretary is responsible for preparing minutes of meetings and conference calls in a timely manner and otherwise assists the Executive as needed. The Secretary will also become familiar with the Sections Regulation and provide advise to the Section as required.

The Secretary sequentially occupies each office through to and including Chair, for a total six-year commitment to the Section. Following completion of the office of Chair, the departing Chair will be invited and encouraged to occupy the position of Honorary Member at Large.


Member-at-Large positions are open to Section members who wish to actively participate in the work of the Section. Members-at-Large are required to attend meetings and participate in conference calls and provide input or take responsibility for various tasks as they arise. Members-at–Large are encouraged to assume leadership roles related to Webinars, member articles and other business and activities of the Section. There are many opportunities to assist.

Young lawyers and students with a particular interest or relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Nominations must be received by May 31, 2024. When filling positions, the Section takes various factors into account, including language, geographic representation and diversity. We consider members who are familiar with and active in Section activities, but also seek new participants.
