Our Section is excited to announce two upcoming webinars this spring!

Our first one, titled “Trends in Valuation of Insurance Property Damage Claims”, will be taking place on March 5, 2024, at 12:00 pm ET. The panel will speak on the best practices in claim valuation across Canada and will include in-house counsel, an independent adjuster, a professional engineer, and a business valuator. Our second webinar, titled “Changing Landscape in Insurance Law”, will be taking place on May 8, 2024, at 12:00 pm ET. The panel will speak on recent and emerging trends in the insurance industry, such as the use of artificial intelligence, the development of cybersecurity issues/ransomware, and insurance response to climate change and natural disasters. VIRTUAL NETWORKING EVENT – COMING THIS SUMMER!

Our Section is looking forward to hosting a virtual networking event this summer! It will be a great opportunity to meet and mingle with insurance lawyers and other insurance professionals who will share tips and answer questions about the pressing issues in the insurance industry and the legal field. We are in the planning stages of this event, so be sure to keep an eye out for details. If you would like to assist with the event, please let us know.
