OTTAWA – On Friday, April 28, some 400 runners and walkers – including lawyers, judges, and the public – are expected to participate in the annual Law Day 5KM Fun Run & Walk at Ottawa City Hall’s Marion Dewar Plaza. This year, proceeds from the run will be donated to Operation Come Home, an Ottawa-based charity that strives to prevent homeless youth from becoming homeless adults.
The run is part of the celebrations for Law Day, which was founded by the Canadian Bar Association in 1983 to recognize the anniversary of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

- The route starts at Marion Dewar Plaza, runs along the pathway beside the canal, turns around at Clegg Street, and returns to the plaza.
