Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin will speak at 8:45 am, Aug. 17 in Saskatoon

OTTAWA — The Chief Justice of Canada, Beverley McLachlin, will now address the Canadian Bar Association’s national Council on Saturday, Aug. 17 at 8:45 a.m. in the Gallery BCD, at TCU Place in Saskatoon. Please note this time change over previously distributed information.

Immediately following her remarks, the Chief Justice will be available for an informal news briefing at approximately 9 a.m. in the Upper East Lounge of TCU Place.

*Federal Justice Minister and Attorney General Peter MacKay, Dialogue with the Minister, on Monday, Aug. 19, at 1:45 p.m. in Salon ABC at TCU Place. He will be available to media following the Dialogue in the Upper East Lounge;

*CBC’s Peter Mansbridge at the Opening Plenary on Aug. 18, at 1 p.m. in Salon AB, TCU Place;
