Richard Susskind, who’s been acting as a special advisor to the CBA Legal Futures Initiative since its inception, has prepared a practical guidebook for law firm strategizing, and it’s as useful for small firms as for big.

Diversity, and the need for it, was a cornerstone of the CBA Legal Futures Initiative’s final report. But reform of the profession will not reach its full potential unless we change the very fibre of the legal profession. In June, CBA’s Access to Justice Committee and the Association of Legal Aid Plans of Canada launched a consultation about national legal aid benchmarks in Canada, asking for feedback by July 17 2015. The consultation aims to encourage innovative thinking about how to renew legal aid in Canada.
