Our Section is at the forefront of competition law and foreign investment review! Our mandate is to promote a greater awareness and understanding of legal and policy issues relating to competition law and foreign investment review. I look forward to working alongside all of you during the 2023-2024 year to contribute to the ongoing policy dialogue in Canada.

I would like to express my thanks to outgoing Chair, Sandy Walker, Dentons Canada LLP, for her leadership last year and to all the Committee Chairs and Vice-Chairs for their hard work and dedication to the Section. I look forward to continuing the work with the new Committee leadership and welcome Tony Di Domenico, Fasken LLP, to the Section Executive, effective September 1, 2023. I look forward to your contributions.
