Robert Brun, Q.C. of Vancouver is the CBA’s new Second Vice-President-elect. CBA President Kevin Carroll, Q.C. made the announcement on March 19 following the vote by CBA Council.

Bill S-14 was introduced in the Senate on February 5, 2013, and received Royal Assent on June 19, 2013.

On June 1, 2015, the Extractive Sector Transparency Measures Act entered into force.
