Over the past two years, we’ve re-imagined the CBA: what we do, and how we do it.
Now it’s time to start building the new CBA, and we need your help.
We’re putting together a new board of directors, and we’re looking for a skilled group of people who represent the diversity of the legal profession, including a mix of practice types, experience, geography and more.
A CBA member will be elected from each province and territory, except Manitoba and New Brunswick. In our efforts to streamline the CBA Board of Directors, it was deemed prudent for one transition year to strike a balance between evolution and organizational continuity. The current CBA President and Treasurer, who come from New Brunswick and Manitoba respectively, have been asked to stay on for an additional year to help with the transition and ensure some continuity.
