The CBA Law Students Forum is seeking nominations for Officer and Articling Student positions for the Sept. 1, 2016 to Aug. 31, 2017 term. The Forum provides students the opportunity to work together to exchange ideas, raise awareness and advance the interests of law and articling students.
This is your opportunity to get involved! Participating in the Forum will provide you the opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues, network with bar leaders from across Canada, and advocate on behalf of fellow students as a united voice on a national stage.
One way to contribute is by becoming a member of the Executive. If you or someone you know is interested, the nomination process is easy! The following positions are open:
- Chair
- Three (3) Vice-Chairs
- Secretary-Treasurer
- Five (5) Articling Students
Eligibility
Candidates must be active CBA members and enrolled at a Canadian law school or in an articling position at the time of nomination and throughout their term.
By Sept. 1, 2016 candidates must have completed:
- Chair: two years of study
- Vice-Chair: one year of study
Nominations
Please send a short resumé or email highlighting your experience and qualifications. Submission of a nomination will be considered to be an acknowledgment of the expectations for the relevant position.
