The CBA Municipal Law Section’s mandate covers legal issues and practice as they relate to municipalities and their activities. Our areas of focus include:

- Municipal activities and their effect on the public
- Municipal quasi-judicial tribunals, including their establishment, jurisdiction, procedure and organization
- Zoning issues
- Intersection of municipal issues with provincial and federal laws
- Practice of lawyers before municipal quasi-judicial tribunals
- Law and practice of land use control and town planning
