Reporting to the Manager of Professional Development (PD), the Contract Online Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and administration of online PD offerings in accordance with CBA policies and procedures. A high level of interaction with the general public, government officials, volunteers, members and staff is required. Must be self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and perform with minimal supervision. The candidate must be detail-oriented, highly organized and comfortable with new and evolving technology.

Bilingualism is required (English and French)


  • Provides liaison and administrative support to program speakers and program chairs
  • Takes care of all logistics associated with online program planning and execution, including all pre- and post-program deliverables such as: compiling and formatting PowerPoint slide decks and editing mp4 recordings of live webinars for on-demand archives
  • Reviews and edits program material
  • Manages online registration process
  • Responds to telephone and email inquiries
  • Drafts, updates, and distributes PD promotional material
  • Prepares and maintains accreditation records
  • Reviews invoices and expense claims for accuracy and follows-up on outstanding accounts
  • Collects data and tracks online program statistics
  • Other related duties as assigned



  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. A combination of education and experience will be considered


  • Minimum three years of relevant work experience coordinating online programs and liaising with clients and stakeholders at various levels
  • Experience working with a volunteer-driven organization (preferred)
  • Experience in online meeting planning (preferred)

Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat)
  • Proficient in Zoom Webinar, Kentico and online event registration platforms
  • Familiarity with video editing
  • Advanced interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
  • Good judgment and tact; proactive
  • Comfortable with changing priorities; works effectively and efficiently under pressure
  • Works well in a team environment

This position is a 12-month contract with the possibility of an extension up to 18 months.
