POSITION SUMMARY

The Bilingual Digital Content Specialist reports to the Director of Communications and Marketing and works with internal stakeholders to support marketing efforts for member products and services through the creation of digital content including videos, podcasts, blogs and social media posts for both English and Francophone audiences. The CBA provides a variety of benefits including a 33.75 hour work week, summer hours, and holiday closure in December.

ANNUAL SALARY

$55,001

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Researches, produces and edits videos and podcasts in support of member services and products.
  • Maintains podcast series channels and publishes episodes for distribution on Simplecast.
  • Creates and maintains production and editorial calendars for multiple platforms.
  • Designs graphics, sources stock images and edits photos for use podcasts, social media and websites.
  • Works with the marketing team to produce timely content marketing campaigns.
  • Works with the social media team to research and contribute to original French content for social media channels.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Post-secondary education in communications, digital media production or a related discipline such as journalism or marketing is required.

Experience

  • A minimum 2 years of experience in a podcast production, marketing or communications role preferably within a non-profit and/or member-based association.

Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in producing videos and podcasts is required
  • Solid experience working within a web/digital communications environment is required
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office is required
  • Excellent organizational skills and adherence to strict deadlines is required
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively, under pressure, and as a part of a team is required
  • Broadcast television or radio experience is an asset
  • Experience with Zencastr, Adobe Audition, Simplecast and Infogram are an asset
