Alberta Branch Women Lawyers Forum reception honours successful women

The CBA Alberta Branch Women Lawyers Forum held a reception for new female judges, justices and Queen's Counsel in June 2016. This is the second time that this event has been held, and the Women Lawyers Forum hopes to continue holding the event every two years, in conjunction with the Q.C. appointments.

The Justicia Project comes to Saskatchewan

The Justicia Project was developed in 2008 by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a partnership between the law society and law firms. The objective of the project was to work collaboratively to share best practices, develop resources and adopt proactive programs that would support the retention and advancement of women lawyers in private practice.
