The Section is aimed at lawyers and notaries in general practice from solo or small firm practitioners.
This year’s Section Executive Committee is a dedicated group of volunteers, and we want to hear from you! Help us inform our paths this year: how can we support such a diverse representation of Canada’s legal community? We strive to have a Section where our goals are driven and met by members, so we are asking:
- What resources can we provide that would assist small firm and solo lawyers? The pandemic has created a paradigm shift and we need to address the changes and adapt. Send us your suggestions! We want your insights, opinions, needs and directions. Although our areas of practice may be different, not being in large firms means we all face similar challenges. We can address our common issues of concern if you help us focus our efforts where they are needed most.
- Would you like to see your work published on the Section webpage? Submit an article! As a lawyer in a small or solo practice, you have valuable experience and wisdom to share with our members.
- Is the government doing (or not doing) something which negatively affects your practice or your clients? We are here to advocate for our members. Suggest a submission.
