The CBA Maritime Law Section serves as a voice and knowledge broker on all legal issues surrounding domestic and international maritime law and practice. This includes:

• Matters affecting shipping and navigation
• Canadian admiralty courts, including their establishment, jurisdiction, procedure and organization
• Marine commerce
• Transportation of goods and passengers by sea
