Are you involved in transactions with intellectual property components, but unsure where to start with the due diligence? Join us for our meeting on April 15 beginning with a presentation on the fundamentals of IP due diligence. From initial document review and conducting searches all the way to post-closing matters, Kaleigh Zimmerman (McMillan) and Jessica Barley (Thompson Dorfman Sweatman) will address the basic steps relating to IP due diligence and highlight key considerations to keep in mind throughout the due diligence process. Kaleigh and Jessica will share their experiences working on transactions varying from simple share purchase agreements with minor intellectual property components to major, international IP-heavy asset purchases. They will also be sharing tips for managing due diligence and key terms to know when working on these transactions.
