Calling All Volunteers!

The Section is looking to engage with our members through member articles and we are looking for one volunteer a month to write a piece for publication to the Section webpage and LinkedIn group. Ideally, we would like a minimum of four volunteers to start producing content over the next four months. Articles do not need to be very long and should be less than 1,000 words. The topic can be a case summary of a notable human rights or constitutional decision, and at the end of the year, we will use the posted pieces to create a year-end round up.

Please contact us if you would be willing to volunteer to write one of the monthly posts. If you are interested in writing but need ideas on the topic, we can offer topic suggestions.

The Section is also looking for one volunteer to assist in the communications role as our current Communications Officer is commencing parental leave. Please be in touch to discuss what this may entail.

Finally, nominations are open for the CBA National Constitutional and Human Rights Section Executive Committee! The Section is seeking nominations for the Secretary and Member-at-Large positions. Interested in serving? Learn more and submit your nomination today! (Deadline: May 31, 2021)
