Benched: How becoming a judge changes your life

Becoming a judge is a life-changing event – and not just because people now stand up when you enter your place of employ. And not all of the changes are entirely positive – judges find there are new limits on what they can talk about, and to whom. But overall, it’s kind of a thrill, according to three new Alberta Provincial Court judges, who tell us about their experience.
