The CBA Admin Law Insider: Vavilov Impact

  • February 11, 2021

Happy New Year from the CBA Administrative Law Executive! We are looking forward to another year of events and engagement with Section members on all things related to administrative law.

The Vavilov Impact: One Year Later

In December 2019, the Supreme Court of Canada revamped the administrative law standard of review analysis with its decision in Canada (Minister of Citizenship and Immigration) v. Vavilov. The Section then hosted a related webinar and you can purchase last year’s recording.

On February 24, 2021 at 12:00 pm EST, our Section will host another expert panel to review the impact of Vavilov one year later and highlight significant decisions from Canada’s appellate courts that have applied the Vavilov analysis in various areas of the law.

Our expert panelists are David Jones, Q.C., Audrey Boctor and Will Tao. Don’t miss this important update! Register now!
