Position Title: Senior Partner or Associate Lawyer (Full-time)

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

With at least 10 years of experience (and not more than 20), you are able to manage a wide variety of corporate commercial matters and work easily and comfortably with clients, both big and small.

Kissack Law is a small boutique firm – we are 2 lawyers and support staff.  Our Oakville practice is thriving and growing – you are not required to bring a book of business with you (although it’s fine if you do), just the right mix of ability, attitude and vision to help us serve our clients well and enjoy working together.


The ideal candidate has a background that includes a broad mix of business law -- corporate, commercial, not-for-profit/charity, and/or securities law.   Their career has not focused in one area – they have had exposure to many different types of legal issues, problems and contexts.   

The ideal candidate has experience working in business – we feel this helps a lawyer understand our clients’ perspective better. The more businesses, and business perspective, they have been exposed to, the better.

  • MS Office, plus other software (e.g., we are a paperless office); we use multiple software to make our work better and more enjoyable, so the ideal candidate has a willingness and expectation about (continually) learning, developing, and implementing new processes and software
