LAS is currently looking for motivated and energetic lawyers to fill full time permanent and term positions in the following locations:

  • North Battleford (two permanent and two term positions, approx. 18 months)
  • La Ronge (one permanent position)
  • Prince Albert (two term position, approx. 12 and 18 months)
  • Regina City (one term position, approx. 12 months)
  • Saskatoon Rural (one term position, approx. 12 months)

Benefits include a salary range for the position of $ 82,965.11 to 149,740.94 per annum; a comprehensive benefits package inclusive of a pension plan; entitlement of 6 weeks off per annum and 14 Statutory Holidays, with additional benefits only applicable to the La Ronge office which include a $200 monthly northern allowance and an additional week of special vacation.

Legal Aid Saskatchewan provides accessible and professional legal services in criminal and family law to eligible people.

We are a publicly funded organization championing access to justice through professional legal services. Our team of staff lawyers and administration support adult and youth clients with criminal matters and family law issues. Full legal services are provided to clients who are financially eligible. Duty counsel service is provided to in-custody clients, regardless of financial status, at all 74 Provincial Courthouses and circuit points. Legal advice through the Brydges Line is available to those arrested or detained, regardless of financial status. Summary advice and information may be provided to anyone by a Legal Aid Saskatchewan lawyer about a wide range of matters if they involve no more than a brief interview or telephone call.

Legal Aid Saskatchewan has 14 offices throughout the province in the communities of Saskatoon, Regina, Prince Albert, Moose Jaw, Swift Current, North Battleford, Melfort, La Ronge, Meadow Lake, Yorkton and Estevan.

The Legal Aid Act and The Legal Aid Regulations provide the legislative mandate for The Saskatchewan Legal Aid Commission, also known as Legal Aid Saskatchewan.
