Despite our recent collective challenges, the housing industry remains strong and our firm continues to add exceptional lawyers to our experienced team to meet the demands of our rapidly expanding client base.

Entering our 20th year on the North Shore in our brand new offices, Haddock & Company, Lawyers (www.haddock-co.ca) is a boutique firm concentrating on our preferred practice areas of strata property law, non-profit housing law, construction law, commercial/residential tenancies and co-operatives.  We are searching for a candidate to fill a full-time associate lawyer position to assist with our busy litigation/solicitor practice.

We are seeking applicants called, or about to be called, to the Bar of British Columbia who have one to five years of litigation related experience, excellent drafting and research skills, strong interpersonal skills and possess an entrepreneurial spirit.  Our firm was built to meet the current crisis with a pre-existing robust remote working platform that seamlessly integrates with our paperless and cloud based environment.  Interest and experience in strata property law and residential tenancies would be an asset.

The work is interesting, challenging and varied, providing the associate with direct client interaction, participation in promotional activities, full conduct over appropriate files and opportunities to exercise advocacy skills before administrative tribunals and the Provincial, Supreme and Appeal courts.  The firm has an open-door policy with lots of support from colleagues and a full team approach.

We offer a competitive compensation package, bonus incentives, benefits and long term career potential.

Qualified applicants should submit their cover letter and resume in confidence to Grant Haddock by mail, fax or email at cgh@haddock-co.ca. No phone calls please.
