Our Halifax office is currently seeking a Commercial Real Property Lawyer to join our Real Property practice group. Our Halifax office services clients involved in a wide range of real estate matters, ranging from local developments to the most significant transactions in Atlantic Canada. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of practice experience in commercial real estate, including financing and leasing expertise. The ideal candidate will actively engage in community initiatives and business development.

The successful candidate will have experience in:

  • Purchase and sale transactions for all types of commercial real estate;
  • Condominium and residential subdivision creation and development;
  • Land assembly for large projects;
  • Commercial financing transactions, acting on behalf of both lenders and borrowers;
  • Commercial lease drafting and negotiation, acting on behalf of both landlords and tenants; and
  • Instructing staff and paralegals, coordinating due diligence and ensuring timely file closure and reporting.
