What’s coming for Law Day 2016

Law Day is the day set aside each year to commemorate the 1982 birth of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. CBA branches across the country hold mock trials and debates, courtroom and holding cell tours, and dial-a-lawyer-type clinics to show the public what lawyers do. Internship opportunities with CBA International Initiatives

CBA International Initiatives is seeking applications from those interested in taking part in its Young Lawyers International Program, which places young Canadian lawyers with non-governmental legal organizations engaged in access to justice and human rights initiatives in Africa, the Caribbean, and Asia. Interested candidates are invited to apply for internships running from September 2016 through March 2017. The closing date for applications is May 16, 2016. Read on for more.
