Toronto – The Canadian Bar Association’s (CBA) Canadian Corporate Counsel Association (CCCA) has announced that the CIBC Legal Contracting Team of Toronto is the winner of the 2015 CCCA Innovation Award.

The CIBC Legal Contracting Team implemented a powerful, dynamic, risk-aligned strategy to manage thousands of contracts annually across a variety of contexts, from low complexity / low risk agreements to high-risk, strategically significant deals. Titled Project Refresh, this innovative suite of tools supports and encourages a flexible and efficient approach to contracting.

The Innovation Award recognizes a CCCA in-house member or group who is doing things differently to create value on behalf of or for the benefit of a law department or organization.

The award will be presented during the CCCA’s Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Sunday evening, April 19, 2015 in Toronto. This event is part of the 2015 CCCA National Conference.
