CBA International Initiatives played host in September to a delegation from the Vietnam Ministry of Justice, part of the CBA’s National Legislative Development project, which supports the implementation of a legislative reform taking place in Vietnam.

The Department of Canadian Heritage is now seeking applications from persons willing to serve as members of one of the two independent expert panels for the CCP – one for official language rights and one for human rights.

Modernizing air transportation: Tariffs, complaints and the definition of Canadian

The Supreme Court of Canada released its decision in Canada (Attorney-General) v. Thouin, 2017 SCC 46 on September 28, 2017.

The Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada (TATC) has up-dated its Rules. The revisions came into force when they were registered on October 4, 2017. They are largely ‘housekeeping’ amendments, bringing the Rules into line with changes in enabling legislation and related provisions, such as the Federal Court Rules.
