More than 250 delegates from across the country gathered in Ottawa in September to share knowledge, experiences, and advice regarding all areas of competition law. Save the date for the 2019 Spring Conference – coming up on May 7, 2019 in Toronto.

James H. Bocking Memorial Award

The Competition Law Section’s James H. Bocking Memorial Award is presented annually to recognize the best scholarly paper on a subject relating directly to Canadian competition law or policy.

The award offers an opportunity to full-time students or early career lawyers (within three years of their call to the Bar) who are interested in competition law to expand their knowledge of Canadian competition law and policy, and to build their profile within the Canadian competition law bar.

The award consists of a monetary prize of $2,500, plus complimentary registration, travel and accommodation (as needed) to attend the CBA Competition Law Section's Annual Spring Conference.

Submit a paper for consideration by Feb. 28, 2019.
