What’s coming up in Competition Law

CBA Competition LawRegistration is open for the May 25 CBA Competition Law Spring Conference in Toronto, Sharpening Swords and Strengthening Shields: Competition Law in Contentious Times. Register now.

Twelve active committees offer several monthly online programs on up-to-the-minute topics including mergers, marketing practices, cartels, bid-rigging conspiracies, economics and law, marketing, and more.

Three programs are offered in March. All programs are free for members of CBA, CCCA and the Competition Bureau. To participate in one or more committees, please join the relevant committee through the CBA Listserv Enrolment webpage (CBA membership number required.)

Is an associate in your firm interested in competition law? The James H. Bocking Memorial Award essay competition is open to lawyers within three years of their call to the Bar as of June 30, 2016, and offers a $2,500 prize and an opportunity to gain profile within the legal community. The deadline for submissions is June 30, 2017.
