Complying with competition law is important for all Canadian businesses. From large companies with significant Canadian divisions to smaller companies competing for customers or looking to be acquired, understanding competition law is crucial for business success and growth. Such understanding is particularly vital to any business that communicates with the public through traditional or online marketing activities. To support your legal knowledge of competition law, the Canadian Bar Association is hosting on Friday, May 22, 2020 its first Competition Law Spring Conference in Montreal. This one-day event will include panel discussions that bring competition law recent developments, emerging trends and best practices to the forefront. The panels will be tailored for, and presented by, competition lawyers, in-house counsel and business leaders from Montreal and their peers from across the country.
