The Fall Conference arrives on the heels of significant “Phase I” amendments to the Competition Act introduced through implementation of the 2022 Federal Budget and an anticipated “Phase II”, a broader consultation about competition legislation and policy which may have commenced by the time of the Conference. Accordingly, a number of the sessions will focus on potential and the recent legislative reforms and policy initiatives.
