The 5th annual forum, hosted by CBA and CIPO, allows members of CIPO and bar to engage in an open discussion in a “town hall” format.

The 2023 CIPO Townhall will include CIPO’s CEO and representatives from CIPO’s Patent Branch, Trademark and Industrial Design Branch, Trademark Opposition Board, Patent Appeal Board and Corporate Strategies and Services Branch. The CIPO speakers will discuss the new 2023−2028 Business Strategy, ongoing initiatives in the different branches, and current services. There will be a panel discussion on current service improvements in intellectual property practice from the CIPO perspective and participants will have the opportunity to pose questions to the panel.
