IN-PERSON MEETING: On the Path to Equity: Women in Law - Roundtable & Update
This meeting is being hosted by the Women Lawyers Forum - Vancouver Island.

Synopsis

A lively roundtable dialogue that delves into the impactful 'On the Path to Equity: Women In Law' report, featuring an exclusive update from Judge Renée Cochard, Retired Judge of the Provincial Court of Alberta.

In this interactive session, dissect the report's findings and brainstorm actionable strategies for driving gender equity within the legal domain from a current perspecitve. With Judge Cochard offering firsthand insights into the report's implications within the judiciary, participants engage in a dynamic exchange, exploring challenges, seizing opportunities, and sharing effective practices for fostering inclusivity. From dissecting systemic barriers to celebrating progress and paving the way forward, this roundtable sparks inspiration for tangible collaboration and action towards achieving gender equity in law.
