erry Schultes, QC, is the Regional Crown Counsel in charge of the Vancouver Region of the Criminal Justice Branch, Ministry of the Attorney General. Mr Schultes is responsible for supervision of prosecutions under the Criminal Code and provincial legislation for the City of Vancouver and adjacent cities, as well as for the Sunshine Coast and the Sea to Sky corridor. He was called to the Bar in 1987 and has spent his entire career with Criminal Justice Branch, first in Fraser Valley Region and since 2005 in Vancouver Region. He was appointed as Queen's Counsel in 2006. He has a strong interest in increasing the level of public knowledge about the operation of the criminal justice system and obtaining input on aspects of its operation that are of public concern.
