 udge Day was appointed as a Citizenship Judge for British Columbia and the Yukon in April 1999. He spent the last 14 years of his 40 year career in adult education as the President of Douglas College in New Westminster, British Columbia. He was the Colombo Plan Technical Advisor in Adult Education in India and the Director of Adult Education in two BC school districts. He has been Chair or President of the Association of Canadian Community Colleges, the BC Council of College and Institute Principals, and the Pacific Association for Continuing Education. Judge Day was inducted into the Order of Canada in 1998. He received the Distinguished Service Recognition Award from the Association of Community Colleges of Canada and the Outstanding Service Award from the Advanced Education Council of BC Judge Day holds an M.Ed in Educational Psychology.
