 he Prince George open house was held on March 23, 2007 to coincide with the tenth anniversary of the opening of the Prince George Law Courts. The 2007 open house was the most successful to date, attracting more than 400 participants and members of the public. The well-attended open house featured two mock trials, a “Spot the Target” contest that was co-sponsored by ICBC, a “How well do you know Canadian law” contest, 13 display tables from public service agencies, a citizenship court, and presentations by legal system representatives and a RCMP dog handler. Refreshments were served throughout the day to members of the public and school groups.
Schedule of Events 10:00 to 10:30 am - Mock trial (Three Little Pigs) 1:00 to 2:00 pm - Mock trial (Peter Rabbit) 7:00 to 9:00 pm - Citizenship Court, followed by reception for new Canadians
