As a result, employers are bringing foreign workers to Canada to fill the gap, and are facing a spectrum of immigration, employment and tax issues in the process. Lawyers need to be prepared to deal with these multiple areas of jurisdiction.

Moderator Howard Greenberg will join an immigration lawyer, a taxation lawyer and an employment lawyer to discuss the recruitment cycle—from pre-contractual considerations to immigration documentation.
