6.3 Cultivating Leadership II: Finding and Developing Your Leaders
In today’s fast-changing environment and global economic downturn, the need for leadership has never been greater. Yet, identifying and developing lawyers with leadership potential often takes a back seat to more immediate priorities, like bringing in new clients, satisfying existing ones, and managing costs. With a wave of partners approaching retirement and new lawyers becoming ever more mobile, many law firms find themselves unable to identify emerging leaders when the time comes, and inadequately prepared to transition clients effectively. The aim of this session is to help develop a game plan for identifying, developing and retaining your future leaders and rainmakers – and holding onto clients in the process.
This program is part of the Leadership for Lawyers Theme/Track.
