Browsers
The CBA's electronic newsletters are optimized for use with Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher, Netscape Navigator 7.0 or higher, and Mozilla Firefox 1.0. These three browsers represent better than 90 per cent of traffic to cba.org within the six-month period prior to the implementation of the new newsletter template. Surfers with older versions of these clients are advised to upgrade in order to maintain full functionality.
For upgrades to your browsers, visit the following sites:
Internet Explorer
Netscape Navigator
Mozilla Firefox
Upgrades are available free of charge.
While we have attempted to make the newsletters compatible with the widest possible number of browsers, as evidenced by our site logs, it's not possible to accomodate every version of every browser available on the World Wide Web. The three browsers we support are viewed as the industry standards for browsing. Printing Each issue of our electronic newsletters features a version that has been optimized for printing. The version linked to from the e-mails announcing the newsletter is optimized for the screen – if you try to print this version, you may have problems with margins, spacing, etc. To access the printer-friendly version, scroll up to the top of the webpage, just under the logo for the newsletter in question. You'll find a navigation bar there with four options. Click on "Printer-friendly" to be taken to the print-optimized page. You can now select "Print" from your browser, and the newsletter should print with proper margins, spacing, etc.
PDF files
The CBA's electronic newsletters often make use of Adobe PDF files to store larger documents. In order to view these files, you will need Adobe Reader, which is a free download available at adobe.com.
