Welcome to the 2012 CBA Canadian Legal Conference (CLC) App
This year we have created a web-based application for all delegates, which can be accessed from any tablet, smartphone, or personal computer. Internet or mobile access will be required in order to access the application. Below you will find some tips, tricks, and features of the application.
Scan the QR Code to access the CLC App from your tablet or smart phone or view the application now from your computer.
Build your Custom Itinerary!
Under the Daily Program tab you can view all of the events taking place at the CLC. To build your custom itinerary, click on the star located next to each event, this will then add the event to your “favourites”.
When using this feature, you will be asked to input the email address you used when registering for the conference and to create a password, so that you can access your custom itinerary in the future. Please note that your email address will not be visible to anyone using the application, nor will it be shared.
View, print, and edit your favourites by clicking on the favourites button (small star icon) located on the top right hand corner of the Daily Program page.
View Updates Automatically!
Changes in session times or locations will be automatically available through the app. If you have enabled the Off Line mode on the Home screen remember to click the Re-Sync Data tab on the Home screen to receive updates.
Review all Events by Track!
Events at the CLC have been organized into 7 separate tracks. Under the Daily Program tab select By Track to view events under the following categories:
- Business Meetings
- CBA Professional Development
- CCCA Professional Development
- CSCJA
- Marketplace
- Social Events & Receptions
- Plenary Sessions
Search for Speakers!
From the Home screen select the Speakers tab to view all of the CLC speakers in alphabetical order. Click on the magnifying glass to search for a particular speaker. Click on a speaker name to see any profile information they might have added as well as the sessions at which they are speaking.
Update your Profile!
Click on the My Settings link on the bottom left hand corner of the home screen to access your profile. Please note that the email address you provided upon registering will be available, but that the information is not available to other, and with not be shared.
See Who Else is here!
View profiles on exhibitors participating in the Marketplace under the Marketplace tab, or view a list of participants from the National legal community under the Attendees tab.
Take Notes during PD Sessions & Print them Later!
Within the Daily Program tab of the App you can click on the individual listing of any of the events at the conference. Each listing features a brief description of the event as well as an opportunity for you to give feedback and take notes. Save your notes and you can access them again through the My Settings link on the home screen.
