Podcast: New Ways to Practice Work/Life Balance

Podcast recording in St. John'sOne of the greatest challenges facing the legal profession today is trying to achieve a productive and satisfying professional career without sacrificing personal and family life.

At the 2006 CBA Canadian Legal Conference in St. John’s in August, the CBA’s Young Lawyers brought together a panel of experts to describe the current situation, successful practices already in place, and a real-life example of a law firm where recruitment and retention issues have virtually disappeared following the introduction of “balanced” policies.

This podcast was recorded immediately following the informative and engaging session in St. John’s, where attendees discussed how finding the right work-life balance can be elusive for lawyers of all ages.
