Supreme Court Civil Rules Survey
In July 2010, a new set of Supreme Court Civil Rules came into effect, governing civil proceedings (other than family law cases) in the British Columbia Supreme Court. In September and October of 2011, the CBA BC Branch conducted a survey of its members with respect to the new Supreme Court Civil Rules as a means of measuring how lawyers have found the new rules to work over the first year.

Family Relations Act Review (Available to CBA Members)
The Canadian Bar Association, British Columbia Branch (CBABC) has been asked to make submissions to provide its perspective regarding the Family Relations Act Review. The CBABC formed the Family Relations Act Review Working Group to present our response to government. The response to Phase 2 was submitted on September 7, 2007. To assist us in getting the widest possible perspective from our members, the CBABC Family Relations Act Review Working Group conducted a survey from August 13 to 27, 2007. The survey focused on child participation; parenting apart; meeting access responsibilities; and family violence
