On July 15, 2008, the Canadian Bar Association BC Branch and the Law Society of British Columbia launched the Articles Registry. A quicklink for the Registry is featured in the top navigation bar on the CBABC website. Students can search for available articles by interest, location and start date. Law firms can post multiple articles with varying criteria. Postings are automatically removed after 45 days. The Registry responds directly to the needs of law firms and students in British Columbia and nationally. Here is how you can use the benefits of the Registry in five easy steps:
|
As a Firm
- Create a log-in and password
- Create your profile
- List as many opportunities as you want
- Search for students who are already in the database wanting articles in your area
- Receive applications from students searching for your criteria.

|
As a Student

- Create your profile
