Lawyers in small firms stand to benefit most from membership!

  • January 10, 2020

Between working in our practice and working on our business, we don’t have extra time or money to chase down the resources and training we need. CBA membership grants you access to countless materials, including many resources that are included with your membership.

Our Section supports lawyers who:

  • work hard to succeed with less administrative and peer support than lawyers in large firms
  • want access to high-quality professional development and other practice resources
  • want more information about practice-related issues in addition to materials related to substantive law

Our dedicated team of volunteers is excited to support our members: Meet your 2019–2020 Executive Committee

Resources for our members

We want to hear from you

  • Submit an article: As a lawyer in a small or solo practice, you have valuable experience and wisdom to share with our members. Your article may be published on the CBA website and/or featured in a future Section newsletter!
  • Do you have an idea for a project/member resource that may be of interest to our members? Email your executive.
  • Is something the government is doing (or not doing) negatively affecting your practice and/or your clients? We are here to advocate for our members. Suggest a submission.

Please contact us at any time if you have questions, or if you would like to get involved in supporting the work of our Section. We would love to hear from you!

Best wishes,
