Jennifer Khor and Robin SullyOn July 16, 2014, the Vietnam Bar Federation awarded its Medal for Development of the Legal Profession in Vietnam to Jennifer Khor, the CBA’s Long Term Advisor to the VBF from 2011 to 2014, and to Robin Sully, former Director of International Development.

The medals were awarded to recognize Jennifer’s and Robin’s contributions to the development of the VBF, Vietnam’s first national bar association, which was established in 2009.

From 2010 to 2014, the CBA implemented a project funded by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark which provided advice and support to help the VBF establish its structure, membership services and programs.

Only six foreigners have been awarded the VBF medal. Vietnamese lawyers must practise for a minimum of 15 years before being eligible to receive the honour. Please join us as we congratulate Jennifer and Robin on their remarkable achievements in Vietnam on behalf of the CBA’s International Initiatives Program.
