Winners of Canada’s first competition law moot crowned

On March 15-16, 2019, the CBA Competition Law Section, along with the Competition Bureau and the Competition Tribunal co-hosted Canada’s first competition law moot.

The calibre of competition was high, with participants from the law faculties of the University of Ottawa, the University of British Columbia, the University of Toronto, Queen’s University, and York University stepping up to the challenge. Congratulations to the winning team of Dylan Williams, Jonah Brook, Hannah Thompson and Victoria Wicks from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia.

A special thank you to all the participants and volunteers, including coaches, coordinators and judges, for giving of their time and talents to make this event such a success.
