Skilled Lawyer Series 2017: The legal life cycle of a business

  • February 27, 2017

Skilled Lawyer SeriesThe ever-popular Skilled Lawyer Series returned in January 2017 with two new streams of webinars offering 12 CPD hours each.

Following on the success of last year’s Anatomy of a Deal, where one narrative set the stage for the entire series, the eight webinars in the 2017 corporate series, The Legal Life Cycle of a Business look at what lawyers need to know at all stages of the life of a business, including drafting shareholder agreements, raising seed capital, workforce planning and boardroom strategies for business acquisition. We also have one webinar directly based on last year’s feedback, talking about what business lawyers need to know about corporate reorganization.

The eight webinars in the litigation stream examine essential skills for litigators, from project management to how to ask questions, when to settle and how to write persuasively. The series will wrap up with a webinar on the top 10 ethical traps that litigators should avoid.

Check out the website for dates and information about the presenters – some of whom are back for a return engagement. If you’ve missed a webinar, recordings are available online.

There’s still time to register for the next webinar in the series, Workforce Planning: Employee Considerations for the Business Lifecycle, on April 11.

Yes  you’re good. But you could be better.
