TORONTO – Jeremy Millard, Legal Director of Uber Canada and Madam Justice Suzanne Côté, Supreme Court of Canada, will headline the Canadian Bar Association’s (CBA) Canadian Corporate Counsel Association (CCCA) 2016 National Conference.
Uber’s Jeremy Millard will share how he navigates the myriad municipal and regulatory laws and other legal issues to help Uber serve cities and the public. Madam Justice Suzanne Côté will participate in a plenary on the role of in-house counsel in the rule of law.
Also speaking is Jim Fisher, Professor Emeritus at the University of Toronto, on how to be a thoughtful leader.
The conference, Your Recipe for In-House Success, takes place April 3-5 in Calgary at the Westin Calgary. “The conference theme reflects in-house counsel today – professionals with a varied mix of complementary responsibilities and skills, much like the ingredients in your favourite dish. We want to make sure our members are working with the highest-quality ingredients,” says CCCA Chair Frédéric Pérodeau of Montreal, maintaining the culinary theme of the conference.
